PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector member wherein an optical fiber is not broken, lead-in of the optical fiber is small and PC is not separated, because an NSP fiber is arranged, fusion-spliced and connected on a conical part of an ferrule generating stress concentration and the optical fiber removing a plastic resin coating is arranged, fusion-spliced and connected on the edge side of the ferrule to be connected to the ferrule with an adhesive. SOLUTION: The optical fiber 4 removing the plastic resin coating in the insertion hole 3 of the ferrule 2 and the optical fiber 5 with the plastic resin coating are fusion-spliced, connected, inserted and arranged. The optical fiber 5 with the plastic resin coating is the NSP fiber coated with the thin non- separation high strength resin. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
