PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reagent capable of stabilizing hemoglobin eluted from erythrocytes, measuring the amount of the hemoglobin (such as concentration), and classifying leucocytes. SOLUTION: A quaternary ammonium salt and dimethyloldmethyl hydantoin are contained in the reagent for measuring the amount of hemoglobin acquired by hemolyzing the hemoglobin in blood and for classifying leucocytes.
