PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein, when an industrial water is used as a cooling water in an engine bench, a temperature management of service water is not conducted, and hence an inlet temperature is changed seasonally or the like, and an outlet water temperature resultantly becomes unstable. SOLUTION: A water temperature regulator comprises a temperature difference predicting unit for predicting a temperature difference between the outlet water temperature of the engine and a temperature regulating tank, and a correcting unit for correcting a cooling effect by multiplying an engine speed by a cooling water circulating gain. Thus, the correcting value and the predicted value are added to an outlet water temperature command value, and hence the outlet water temperature can be stably controlled. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
