PURPOSE: A method of gaining power by rotating a rotary shaft, using gravity is provided to remove restriction in installation places, protect a natural ecosystem and environment, gain energy without spending another energy, and reduce the installation cost and the cost of maintenance. CONSTITUTION: In a method of gaining power by rotating a rotary shaft(5), using gravity, gravity unit weights(2,3) are fixed to the rotary shaft in order, and the gravity unit weights fall by gravity if the gravity unit weights are released. The rotary shaft is rotated by the falling gravity unit weights and at the same time many gears fixed to the rotary shaft are connected and rotated. And then a gear in a vertical rising unit(7) is rotated. A vertical rising-auxiliary unit is operated to engage the gear in the vertical rising unit with a gear in gravity unit(1), if earlier falling gravity unit weight reaches a vertical rising position. The gear in the vertical rising unit vertically raises the gravity unit weight by engaging with the gear in the gravity unit. The vertically raised gravity weight rotates the rotary shaft by cooperating with another gravity unit weight while falling again by gravity and at the same time the gravity unit weights dropped in order are vertically raised in order. A gear rotation direction conversion unit, mounted to the rotary shaft to convert the rotating direction of the gear in the vertical rising unit, is operated to vertically raise the vertically raised and dropped gravity unit weights again. The gravity unit weights are vertically raised in order while the rotating direction of the gear in the vertical rising unit is converted. Thus, the rotary shaft is continuously rotated. |
