PURPOSE: A pocket forming structure for document storage files is provided to secure easy and inexpensive production of the files as well as mass production thereof, and to improve storage stability of documents. CONSTITUTION: A file comprises a file body(1), a thickness defining portion(2) centrally formed at the file body, both folding lines(3) for use in the formation of the thickness defining portion, front and rear sheets(4,5), and a pocket forming structure. The file comprises a pocket fixing cover(10) extending toward the left side from the front sheet, an outer folding line(11) for use in the formation of an outer pocket thickness defining portion, a fixing adhesive plate(12) extending from the pocket fixing cover and having an inner folding line(13), a pocket lower side thickness portion(15), and a pocket surface cover plate(14) having a fitting plate.
