BOGIE FOR RAILWAY VEHICLE, AND METHOD FOR PREVENTING SETTLING OF AXIAL SPRING OF BOGIE FOR RAILWAY VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bogie for a railway vehicle and the like having advantages for preventing settling of an axial spring and the like. SOLUTION: An axial spring 19 is attached between a bogie frame 13 of a bogie 11 and an arm 18a of each axial box 18. The axial spring 19 combinedly uses a main spring 20 mainly such as laminate rubbers 26a, 26b and 26c, and an air spring filled with compressive fluid. The bogie 11 having such an axial spring 19 can secure a proper spring characteristic as the entire axial spring 19 by adjusting the air pressure of the air spring 30 according to the need. This can prevent settling of the main spring 20 mainly such as the laminate rubbers 26a, 26b and 26c. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
