<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inflator with a cap easy to mount thereon. <P>SOLUTION: The outer surface including a first gas exhaust port 22 of a diffuser part 20 is covered with the cap 40 having a second gas exhaust port 45.
