<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide lubrication structure in a casing provided with a gear mechanism in it, lubrication structure for a differential device, lubrication structure for a transmission gear and a seal member, ensuring satisfactory lubrication without complicating assembling operation and without increasing components. <P>SOLUTION: The differential device is adapted to scoop up lubrication oil in the casing 1 by a ring gear 10 to lubricate every portion, the casing being formed of a differential carrier 2 and a cover 3 with the seal member 20 interposed between them. As the lubrication structure for the differential device, the seal member 20 is equipped with an annular seal member body 21 caught between an end face 2a of the differential carrier 2 and an end face 3a of the cover 3, and an oil guide 23 extensionally formed on an inner peripheral edge of the seal member body 21 for catching the lubrication oil scooped up by the ring gear 10 and for guiding the oil to a bearing 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
