PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector plug that can be smoothly retrieved without tangling with other optical fibers, even in the case where a large number of optical fibers are complicatedly arranged as in an optical fiber connection switching device, and that can realize a highly reliable optical connection. SOLUTION: The optical connector plug is equipped with a cylindrical ferrule 32 for enclosing the end of an optical fiber FI and a body part 31 for holding the base of the ferrule 32. For the body part 31, a flange 33 that is engaged with the restraining hooks 24 of an optical adaptor 2 is formed, where an expanded part 34 is formed in the rear of the flange 33, and the outer diameter of the expanded part 34 is larger towards the flange 33.
