PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a picture from a display device from getting into an electric picture input means side. SOLUTION: In the photographing device 1, an electric picture input means 11 for photographing the face of a person to be photographed 4, and a display device 13b displaying the picture of the face photographed by the input means 11 are arranged at a specified angle, and a half mirror 12 is arranged between the device 13b and the input means 11 so as to be inclined at a specified angle to the respective axes of the device 13b and the input means 11, and the input means 11 is made to face to the face of the person to be photographed 4 through a glass plate 19 in a state where the axis of the displayed picture of the device 13b is aligned with the axis of the input means 11, whereby the face of the person to be photographed 4 is photographed. In the device 1, the vicinity of a part crossing with the photographic axis of the input means 11 out of the mirror 12 is formed as a transmission part 12a where reflectance is low, and a mesh mirror part 12b where high-reflectance fine mirrors equivalent to the arranging pitch of the display dots of the device 13b are regularly arranged is provided around the transmission part 12a so as to utilize the diffraction action of the mesh mirror part 12b.
