A switch (IT1) connected between inverter input and amplifier output, is controlled by a control signal that is active during initial period of reset phase and inactive during relaxation period. A switch (IT2) connected between photosensitive and intermediate pixel nodes is controlled by control signal that is active during start of initial period and relaxation period completion, and inactive during final period of reset phase. An Independent claim is also included for complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) active pixel resetting method.
