<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material which reduces costs by decreasing the film thickness of an intermediate layer, and can maintain the sensibility of an thermal recording layer under the intermediate layer. <P>SOLUTION: This thermal recording layer is characterized as follows: the two thermal recording layers or more are provided on a base; and the intermediate layer, which is provided between the thermal recording layers, contains a compound, the melting point or softening point of which is ≥40°C and ≤200°C and the particle diameter of which is 1 μm or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
