<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of obtaining a high quality image by improving the cleaning property of a transfer belt. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device 100 in which a toner image on the transfer belt 13 is transferred onto a transfer material and a bias cleaning roller 21 subsequently cleans the surface of the transfer belt 13, is provided with a means for changing the velocity ratio of a surface velocity of the bias cleaning roller 21 to the surface velocity of the transfer belt 13, and remaining toner is cleaned by electrostatic force and mechanical scraping. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
