<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To classify parameters for image formation processing into parameters that only a user having technical knowledge can change and parameters that even a general user who does not have the technical knowledge can change and to enable the general user to optimize only the latter. <P>SOLUTION: When the general user who does not have the technical knowledge selects a change (custom paper kind adjustment value) of parameters, corresponding to the kind and property of a printing form, that the general user can change in an image at the left end of Fig. 6 in a diagnostic mode of a copy system, a 2nd upper image from the left of Fig. 6 is displayed. The general user is allowed to change the respective parameters within a limited range. The general user changes the parameters within the range and then the changed parameters are used as corrected parameters for printing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
