PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive composition and a photosensitive planographic printing plate having high sensitivity and excellent in preservability and ink receptivity in printing.

SOLUTION: In the photosensitive composition comprising (A) one or more photopolymerization initiators, (B) an addition-polymerizable ethylenic double bond-containing monomer and (C) a polymeric binder, at least one of the photopolymerization initiators (A) is a titanocene compound represented by formula (1) wherein R1is aryl which may have a substituent; R2is H, alkyl or aryl; R3is alkyl; n is an integer of 2-4; and m is an integer of 0-5.
