<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation display device capable of switching a language in which characters of an explanation are displayed. <P>SOLUTION: An operation display apparatus having a touch panel 12 superposed over a screen of a liquid crystal display apparatus 11 is used, and operation contents of a control object are indicated by operation on the touch panel 12, and the operation state of the control object is monitored by display contents on the liquid crystal apparatus 11. An explanation about the control object is displayed with characters in an explanation display area provided on a picture of the liquid crystal display apparatus 11. Characters to be displayed in the explanation display area are stored in a display contents storage part 16a in a plurality of languages. When the touch panel 12 in the explanation display area is touched, a display language switching part 10b reads out the explanation in another language from the display contents storage part 16a to change the language type of characters displayed in the explanation display area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
