PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hemolyzing agent capable of stabilizing hemoglobin eluted from erythrocytes and measuring the amount of the hemoglobin (such as concentration) and to provide a reagent for classifying leucocytes by a histogram of the leucocytes. SOLUTION: As the erythrocyte hemolyzing agent or the reagent for classifying leucocytes, a quaternary ammonium salt and an aminosulfuric acid of concentrations and within pH ranges each appropriate for the hemolyzing agent and the reagent are contained.
