PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress particle abrasion of a raceway face by using an automatic aligning roller bearing of an inexpensive standardized article. SOLUTION: A cut crowning 19 making a drop amount toward both end sides of a bearing larger is applied on the outer diameter face of an outer ring 12. A relief margin is provided in-between a mounting face of a bearing box or the like on which the outer ring 12 is mounted. Elastic deformation of the outer ring 12 during application of a bearing load is positively allowed. The partial abrasion on the raceway face 13 is suppressed by equalizing contacting face pressure with a roller 16 and the raceway face 13 of the outer ring 12 in the axial direction of the roller 16, even if the automatic aligning roller bearing 1 of the standardized article is used.
