<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer label which has an excellent water resistance, and permits continuous printing of multiple sheets with less thermal curling than heretofore when this label is used as a printed label by a thermal transfer printer and to provide a thermal transfer labels which is excellent in water resistance as a base material for a hiding label, label for preventing resticking, etc., and does not require special processing in order to initiate peeling. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal transfer label is provided with a tacky adhesive layer (B) and release paper (C) on one surface of a base material layer (A) containing 30 to 100 wt.% thermoplastic resin which is a crystalline resin, elastomer or their mixture and 70 to 0 wt.% inorganic fine powder and/or organic filler, in which the heat of crystallization of the base material layer (A) is ≤60 J/cm<SP>3</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
