PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber material for a fuel hose without producing a crack when worn for the cold work at normal temperature without preheating a mandrel in mounting a raw material on the mandrel for bending and expanding one end part. SOLUTION: The raw material 1 is formed by the extrusion forming of a rubber material whose main component is NBR-PVC blended polymer, with the Mooney viscosity being at least 40, the ratio of the PVC average polymerization degree to NBR Mooney viscosity being 20 or lower, kneaded with the kneading temperature maintained at 160-220°C for 30-600 sec. The mandrel 2, three-dimensionally bent and having a large diameter part 3 at the root, is covered with the raw material 1 by the cold work. At the time, a crack will not be produced in the bending or expanding.
