PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothen indoor ventilation and simplify its configuration. SOLUTION: To provide an air exhaust hole 11a for exhausting air through an exhaust barrel portion 11 by raising air in a building to its upper portion. A ridge cover 20 is provided at the upper portion of the air exhaust hole 11a. A board-shaped outside air back flow prevention valve 30 operated by the outdoor air is installed near the air exhaust hole 11a. The outdoor air back flow preventing valve 30 is located in such a manner that its rotating shaft 13 is above the exhaust hole and below the ridge cover 20. In no wind state, the attitude of the outdoor air back flow prevention valve 30 is located in vertically by the gravity and the ventilating passage 20a is set to 'OPEN'. When there is wind, the outside air back flow prevention valve 30 stop air blowing to the ventilation passage 20a and the wind is exhausted from the exhaust hole 11a. The position of the center of gravity of the outside air back flow prevention valve 30 is made adjustable relative to the rotation shaft 13 in distance direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
