PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package and a package member capable of reducing cost, reducing troublesome work for disposing of a packaging material and remarkably improving a packing operation and a taking-out operation. SOLUTION: The package 31 has a lighting unit 11 mounted at an opening covering unit 40 acting as a flat plate covering unit of a packaging material 33 under a state in which an opening 16 is faced in a downward direction; an end surface covering unit 43; a side part covering unit 45; a position restricting unit 49 at a second side surface arranged inside a frame 17; a position restricting unit 47 at a first side surface arranged outside the frame 17; and a side surface covering unit 41 to cover position restricting units 47, 48 at the first and second side surfaces. In accordance with the present embodiment, an external force applied on the package 31 is directly supported by the lighting unit 11, so that it is not necessary to arrange any exclusive shock absorbing material and at the same time it is possible to reduce an amount of use of the packing material 33, and an operation for taking out the lighting unit 11 from the package 31 becomes easy.
