<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance responsiveness to a acceleration request in a hybrid car. <P>SOLUTION: In this hybrid car, an engine and a motor generator are provided as power source, and at least one power of an engine and a motor generator is transmitted to a driving wheel to be used as a propulsion force of the car. The hybrid car comprises: an engine control means for controlling operating/ stopping of the engine; and an accelerator pedal for increasing/decreasing the propulsion force of the car. When only the motor generator is used as the power source of the car and when an output change of the accelerator pedal is not less than a predetermined value within a predetermined time, the engine control means starts the engine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
