PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the interference of a large-sized lens to a camera main body at the time of hanger mount operation in advance. SOLUTION: The lens mount device is provided with an operation ring 131 for setting the attaching feasible/unfeasible state of a lens barrel and the camera main body by respective mount systems, and a pivotally supporting lever 141 which can be engaged with/disengaged from the camera main body side according to the operating position of the operation ring 131. The pivotally supporting lever is constituted to be locked on the camera main body side in the attaching feasible state of the lens barrel and the camera main body by a hanger mount system, and constituted not to be locked in the camera main body side in the attaching unfeasible state. Since the lens barrel and the camera main body are attached after the lens attaching feasible state by the hanger mount system is set by the operation ring, the interference of the large-sized lens to the camera main body at the time of hanger mount operation is prevented in advance.
