PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump waterwheel enhanced in cooling efficiency for a heat generation part. SOLUTION: External air f1 is converted into cooling air f2 by installing cooling fans 11 around a casing 4 and a suction pipe 5. The cooling air f2 is efficiently guided to the heat generation part to enhance the cooling efficiency for the heat generation part by installing a hood 12 covering a region from the suction pipe 5 and a pump waterwheel body 3 to a generator motor 9.
