PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treated aluminum material which has excellent adhesion with a resin film or the like and corrosion resistance. SOLUTION: The surface treated aluminum material is provided with a metallic base material consisting of aluminum or an aluminum alloy and a nonporous anodic oxidation coating formed on the surface of the base material. The thickness of the nonporous anodic oxidation coating is 20 to 300 nm, the center line means roughness Ra of the coating is 0.1 to 0.5μm, the ten point means roughness Rz is 1 to 3μm, and the maximum height Rmax is 1 to 4μm.
