PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foaming agent for forming shield method, capable of forming stable foam and not lowering flowability of earth and sand. SOLUTION: The foaming agent for foam shield comprises an alkyl ether sulfate salt having an 8-18C hydrocarbon group and a polyoxyethylene group and contains a polyalkylene glycol in which the weight average molecular weight is within a specific range in a specific weight ratio.
