PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypropylene resin composition that is excellent in the balance of impact resistance and rigidity and is excellent in transparency and to provide the application of the polypropylene resin composition. SOLUTION: The composition comprises 60-90 wt.% propylenic resin (A) and 40-10 wt.% ethylenic resin (B). The propylenic resin (A) comprises (a) a propylene polymer component having (A1) an ethylene unit content of 0-2 wt.% and anα-olefin unit content of 0-10 wt.% and (b) a copolymer component having (A2) a content of an ethylene unit and/or anα-olefin unit of 15-50 wt.% wherein the propylenic resin (A) has an MFR of 0.1-10 g/10 min and the amount of the component (a) is 85-98 wt.% based on 100 wt.% of the total amount of the components (a) and (b). The ethylenic resin (B) has the characteristics that it is a copolymer of ethylene and anα-olefin (B1), has an MFR of 0.1-50 g/10 min (B2), and has a density of 865-910 kg/m<SP>3</SP>(B3).
