PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely restrain generation of winding creases of woven fabric in the process of winding the woven fabric. SOLUTION: This winding device 1 for the woven fabric includes a cloth feeder 2 composed of a cloth winding rolls 5 and nip rolls 7, 8 to feed the woven fabric 6 at a designated speed, and a tentering device 3 and a woven fabric friction member 4 (a separating sheet 41, a first separating plate 42, a second separating plate 43, a first tentering plate 44, a second tentering plate 45) provided on the downstream side of the tentering device 3, which are disposed on a woven fabric path in a space up to the cloth winding roll 5. The woven fabric 6 is tentered by the tentering device 3, and then the woven fabric 6 is slid along the woven fabric friction member (the separating sheet 41, the first separating plate 42, the second separating plate 43), to take up the woven fabric 6 on a cloth take-up roll 9.
