PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transport member for a record medium for decreasing the number of parts, reducing assembling man-hour, and eliminating the need of assembling the parts to each other with high accuracy. SOLUTION: This sawtooth roller includes a sawtooth member and a pressure member for the sawtooth member, wherein the sawtooth member is provided with a disc having a projecting part, the tip of which is linear or dot-like on the outer periphery and a shaft serving as the rotating shaft of the disc, and the disc and the shaft are integrally formed of resin.
