PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sharply sloped conveyor belt with a wavy flange having longer durability by previously reinforcing the flange at its three-dimensional curved portion and easily repairing thereof using an inexpensive component, a sharply sloped conveyor belt reinforcing and repairing method and its reinforcing and repairing component. SOLUTION: The way to mount the reinforcing and repairing component 7 on the three-dimensional curved portion Z of a base end 3x on the outer wall face side of one wavy flange 3a is simpler to the way to mount the reinforcing and repairing component 7 on the three-dimensional curved portion Z of a base end 3y on the inner wall face side of the wavy flange 3a. Herein, the reinforcing and repairing component 7 is previously molded of a rubber material in the form of fitting the three-dimensional curved portion Z of the base end 3x on the outer wall face side of the wavy flange or the three-dimensional curved portion Z of the base end 3y on the inner wall face side thereof.
