<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyurethane resin having sufficient adhesion to a PET film. <P>SOLUTION: The polyurethane resin is obtained by reacting a polyhydroxy compound, a polyisocyanate compound, and if necessary, a chain extender and/or a shortstop agent, wherein the polyhydroxy compound comprises a polyester polyol obtained by polymerizing 3-methylpentanediol and terephthalic acid.
