PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushion structure not only having excellent cushion property and endurance, but also having sufficient resilience, and to provide a method for producing the cushion structure. SOLUTION: The cushion structure comprises a conjugated short fiber, composed of a fiber-forming polyester polymer and a thermoplastic elastomer having a melting point lower by 40°C than the melting point of the fiber-forming polyester polymer, in which the fiber-forming polyester is exposed on at least the surface of the fiber. The method for producing the cushion structure comprises heat-treating the conjugated short fiber at a temperature lower by 5-50°C than the melting point of the thermoplastic elastomer, forming a web with the conjugated short fiber, forming fiber cross points between these conjugated short fibers, heat-treating the conjugated short fiber at a temperature lower than the melting point of the fiber-forming polyester polymer and higher by 10-80°C than the melting point of the thermoplastic elastomer and heat-fusing at least a part of the fiber cross points among the fiber cross points.
