PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover for a shell of a helmet simply protecting the shell and easily exchanging the cover. SOLUTION: This cover for the shell 2 of the helmet is obtained by forming a cover body 11 detachably provided on the surface of the shell 2, forming a string body 13 such as an elastic cord on an opening edge of the cover body 11 and detachably attaching the cover body 11 to the surface of the shell 2 by expansion and contraction of the string body 13. Thereby, the surface of the shell 2 can be protected to prevent stains, or the like. The appearance design of the helmet 1 can be changed and a mode of a change in design can be enjoyed with the one helmet 1.
