PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing for an water pump by which drawing strength of a small diameter shaft to a large diameter shaft is improved and stabilized, and low cost and high reliability are materialized. SOLUTION: A circumferential groove 11a is formed in the side end of the small diameter shaft on the outer peripheral surface 11x of the large diameter shaft 11. A protrusion 12a continued in the circumferential direction is formed on the inner peripheral surface 12y of the fitting part 12x in the small diameter shaft 12. In this configuration, when the end of the large diameter shaft is fitted in the fitting part 12x in the small diameter shaft 12, the protrusion 12a is fitted in the circumferential groove 11a to work as a slip-off preventing means for the small diameter shaft 11. Without influence on the dimensional accuracy of members employed for the bearing, therefore, the drawing strength of the small diameter shaft 12 to the large diameter shaft 11 is improved, and such a trouble that the small diameter shaft 12 is dropped off from the large diameter shaft 11 is prevented.
