PURPOSE: A closing judging method of a throttle valve is provided to perform learning of throttle valve opening degree accurately by closing the throttle valve completely with using a brake switch, and to prevent disabled control of idling and engine stall from no judgement on closing of the throttle valve. CONSTITUTION: An ECU(Electronic Control Unit) receives brake switch condition, throttle valve opening degree and suction air amount from a vehicle state detecting unit and the learning value of the throttle valve opening degree in a memory, and judges satisfaction of the learning condition of the throttle valve opening degree(S110,S120). The ECU judges closing of the throttle valve, learns the throttle valve opening degree and outputs the control signal for controlling the idle state of the engine in satisfying the learning condition of throttle valve opening degree(S130). The ECU outputs the control signal for controlling the idle state of the engine by applying the total learning value of the throttle valve opening degree in not satisfying the learning condition of the throttle valve opening degree(S131).
