<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent temperature rise by minimizing light absorption of a liquid crystal panel. <P>SOLUTION: In a pixel electrode 18 and a transparent electrode 22 on the counter electrode side, the thickness of a light incident path is set thin to 10-50 nm, and the thickness of the parts other than the light incident path part is set to 80-500 nm. The transparent electrode film is made thick in the connection part of a drain electrode 16 and a pixel electrode 18, and also in the connection part of the transparent electrode 22 on the counter substrate side and an active matrix substrate 1.
