<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insert component for a coupling which can be firmly coupled to a case body, and obtains sufficient sealability by solving the following problems; adhesion of the insert component 3 for a coupling to the case body 1 deteriorates, and the sealability lowers by the irregularities of knurls incised in a peripheral surface to obtain large rotation strength of the insert component, as the flow of resin is disturbed on the circumferential surface of the insert component 3, when die molding of the case body 1 is performed; forming processes increase, resin splits by press-fitting of the insert component, sufficient withdrawal strength cannot be obtained, etc., when an O-ring is used and the insert component is press-fitted to ensure the sufficient sealability. <P>SOLUTION: Along with knurling 25 the peripheral surface of a pipe made of metal, an annular recession 23 is formed in the axial middle of the peripheral surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
