PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side mirror peripheral structure enabling immediate start of a vehicle with backward visibility via a door mirror by preventing the deposition of frost, iced matters, water drops, dust or the like on the door mirror and a door glass of the front door. SOLUTION: The door mirror peripheral structure is mounted on the side of a vehicle body 1 so as to be longitudinally turnable between a usage position A of the door mirror 5 being protruded sideways and a storage position B of being folded along the door glass (a side glass) 4. It comprises a sealing part 10 provided along the periphery of the backward visible mirror surface of the door mirror 5 for closely contacting the side glass at the storage position to shut the mirror surface off outside air.
