PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure which accurately controls an amount of intake air at the time of a small amount of the intake air without bringing about an excess stress strain at the intake air metering section of a throttle body. SOLUTION: Since the inner diameters C and A of radially enlarged parts 2h and 2f provided at the engaging sections 9 and 6 sides of the throttle body 2 with the air duct hole 8 and the intake manifold 5 are formed larger than the inner diameter B of a metering section 2b, and since the thicknesses (c) and (a) of both the enlarged sections 2h and 2f are formed thinner than that (b) of the metering section 2b, strains are absorbed to the sections 2h and 2f and not hence affected to the section 2b. Accordingly, the excess strain stress does not occur at the intake air metering section, and the accurate control of the amount of the intake air is conducted at the time of the small amount of the intake air.
