Aerosol device comprises a first compartment containing an aqueous hair styling composition comprising a water-soluble or -dispersible hair-setting polymer (I) and less than 5 wt.% monohydric alcohols with 1-4 carbon atoms, and a second compartment containing compressed air, nitrogen or carbon dioxide. (I) is not poly vinylpyrrolidone. An Independent claim is also included for hair styling by vaporizing the composition containing in the aerosol device onto wet or dry hair.
