<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caulking cap for a catheter capable allowing an inner needle to be smoothly inserted into an indwelling needle, preventing a tip part of the inner needle from being damaged, and almost free from the attachment of dust, oil and germ. <P>SOLUTION: This caulking cap composed of a tapered tube part and a small tube part connected to a small hole of the tapered tube part and axially extended, is successively deep-drawn by using a plurality of press molds respectively having a pair of punch and die, and the coning is performed to finish an inner face of the tapered tube part as a smooth surface, after the deep- drawing by the press mold in the final stage is terminated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
