PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the weight reduction and cost reduction of a foamed molded object by enhancing pressure reducing effect in the vacuum foam molding of a foamed object such as a pad or the like for a seat of a car. SOLUTION: A manufacturing apparatus for the foamed molded object is equipped with a mold 14 made operable between a horizontal posture and an inclined posture inclined by a predetermined angleθ, a pressure reducing device 16 for sucking the air in the cavity 12 of the mold to reduce the pressure of the cavity 12, an injection port 44 provided to the mold 14 for injecting a foamable raw material U in the cavity 12 and a lid material 50 provided to the injection port 44 from the outside of the cavity 12 in a detachable manner to open and close the injection port 44. The injection port 44 is formed into a truncated cone shape becoming gradually large in opening area outwardly and the lid material 50 is formed into the truncated cone shape corresponding to the shape of the injection port 44.
