COLD ROLLING MACHINE OF METAL PLATE AND COLD ROLLING METHOD USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold rolling machine to suppress both chattering and seizure and capable of obtaining a metal plate having good glossiness at a high rolling speed, and also to provide a cold rolling method for the metal plate using the same. SOLUTION: The cold rolling machine for the metal plate has a plurality of stands arranged in a row. Each stand incorporates a work roll to have a chrome plated layer formed on a roll barrel surface layer and having almost partial spherical protrusions to have surface roughness Ra of 0.05-2.0μm and Hv of≥1000. The cold rolling method for the metal plate uses the cold rolling machine and carries out cold rolling with draft of 5-40% of each stand in one direction while lubricant is being fed between the work rolls incorporated into the respective stands and the metal plate.
