<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet material fusion device which reduces the width of a strip-like heat-sealing part. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet material fusion device 1 comprises a receiving seat 20 and a heating part 10 opposed to the receiving seat 20 arranged vertically above the receiving seat 20. The heating part 10 is formed of a first member 11 and a second member 12. The first member 11 is positioned on the receiving seat side and the second member 12 is positioned on the counter-receiving seat side and vertically above the first member 11. The first and the second member 11 and 12 are connected to each other and a main heater 13 is installed at the connection position. The first and the second member 11 and 12 are almost symmetrical centering around the main heater 13. The first member 11 has a cutting blade 11C for cutting the sheet material and providing a heat-sealing part, a first heating face 11D and a second heating face 11E, formed in one piece.
