<p>PURPOSE: To provide the earth structure of a tape recorder the cost of which is reduced by reducing the number of part items and the manhour of assembly. CONSTITUTION: A protrusion 11j with recessed back face, for example, 3mm thick and, for example, 6mm across is formed to be near the limit of plastic working at the left front corner of the bottom of a chassis 11 made of metal by deep drawing. A cylinder 71 made of synthetic resin is attached integrally to the section by outsert molding so that the depth H may be 7.1mm. A printed wiring board 72 is screwed with an earth screw 73. Hereby, the earth pattern of the printed wiring board 72 and the protrusion 11j of the chassis 11 are conductive through the earth screw 73, and static electricity, etc., are removed. This eliminates the necessity to separately attach another parts such as a metallic board mounting shaft, etc., to the chassis 11 by calking, or the like, and by that amount, the number of part items and the manhour of assembly are reduced, and the whole cost can be reduced.</p> |
