PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric for cleaning which is suitably used for cleaning a floor and which is inexpensive and excellent in the wiping performance and collecting performance of dust in various sizes. SOLUTION: Fusion areas continuous with non-fusion areas are formed in the whole area of the nonwoven fabric of an uneven shape. The non-fusion areas have a thickness at least ten times thickness (H1) of the fusion areas. The ratio (W/H2) of a length (W) between the fusion areas surrounding the non-fusion areas on the cross section of the nonwoven fabric to the thickness (H2) of the non-fusion areas satisfies 4.5≥W/H2≥1.5.
