METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING COATED METAL PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a coated metal plate having a beautiful spot-like pattern uniformly formed thereto and excellent in design effect. SOLUTION: Coating is applied to the whole upper surface of a long metal plate to form a primary coating film, and the drop-like coating is ejected to the metal plate from the jet position 9 above the metal plate 1 radially on a plan view while longitudinally feeding the metal plate 1. A shield plate 8 shields the sprinkling of the coating over the range from the outer periphery of a sprinkling region 10 to the inner periphery thereof in both ends, in the direction crossing the feed direction of the metal plate 1 at a right angle of the coating sprinkling region 10 formed in an annular state under the coating jet position 9. The plate 8 is arranged between the metal plate 1 and the coating jet position 9 thereabove. By this constitution, the drop-like coating is sprinkled over the primary coating film to form a secondary coating film dispersed in a spot-like state on the primary coating film.
