PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tightening tool capacity determining device for easily determining the tightening capacity of a tightening tool by a mechanical mechanism under an arbitrarily set tightening condition. SOLUTION: This tightening tool capacity determining device comprises a cylindrical sealed vessel 1 having a piston 2 with a working fluid 3 filled therein, a male screw 5 which is screwed to a female screw 1a formed in the sealed vessel 1 to press the piston 2 by the rotational tightening operation by a tightening tool, and a tightening capacity determining member 7 subjected to the pressure of the working fluid 31 in the sealed vessel 1 via a small hole 6 formed in the sealed vessel 1. The tightening capacity determining member 7 comprises a small piston 71 subjected to the pressure of the working fluid 3 in the sealed vessel 1, a spring member 72 to urge the small piston 71 in the direction against the pressure of the working fluid 3, a determination indicating member 73 which is moved according to the movement of the small piston 71, and a regulation member 75 to regulate the urging force of the spring member 72.
