PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display control device capable of displaying a smooth image even in the case of a reduced display of the image by thinning out the lines. SOLUTION: A buffer circuit 10A in each line fetches RGB data outputted from an external video RAM 200. The RGB data outputted from the buffer circuit 10A concerning the 1st line are inputted to a D-A converter 10G via switches 10D, 10E and outputted externally. The RGB data of the next line are stored in a storage circuit 10C via the switch 10D. Further, the RGB data of the following line are inputted to an averaging circuit 10B and are averaged with the RGB data stored in the storage circuit 10C. The contents of the storage circuit 10C are updated by the averaged RGB data. The RGB data are sequentially averaged up to the next display line to update the contents of the storage circuit 10C, and the RGB data are externally outputted in each line in accordance with an image reduction ratio. |
